In situ simulation, simulation that is physically integrated into the clinical environment, is considered as a rich resource to identify hazards and deficiencies in the clinical systems, the environment, and the provider team, that can compromise patient safety especially in high-risk areas. Various operational challenges faced during the implementation of the In situ simulation were shared by the participants and discussed in length with Dr. Alinier.
