Second International Conference of the Lebanese International University School of Pharmacy
Dr. Lamis Karaoui, Pharm.D., BCPS, Clinical Associate Professor and Director of Experiential Education represented the LAU Clinical Simulation Center in the proceedings of the Lebanese International University School of Pharmacy second international conference held in its Bekaa Campus on April 11, 2019.
In a session titled “Consolidation of Pharmacy Education and Practice Through Quality Indicators”, Dr. Karaoui introduced simulation-based pharmacy education as an innovative approach to active learning. Dr. Karaoui gave the example of the LAU School of Pharmacy’s use of the simulation center in providing student pharmacists with a safe controlled environment and allowing them to become practice and team-ready.
