AMEE SIME Webinar: Advancing simulation development from Lebanon and Saudi Arabia
On Thursday October 11, 2018, the AMEE SIME webinar series introduced the “Advancing Simulation: Development from Lebanon & Saudi Arabia” webinar presented by Debra Nastel, Dr. Vanda Abi Raad, Abdulaziz Boker and Hani Lababidi.
Dr. Abi Raad explained the development of an award degree for simulation educators at the Lebanese American University. This innovative program is designed to meet the requirements of a range of health professionals who wish to develop specialist knowledge, skills and understanding of simulation as a modality for teaching and supporting learning and assessment. Till date, the simulation diploma was offered for three consecutive years to 66 participants coming from various Lebanese and Regional universities and hospitals. Participants benefited from the use of an interprofessional setting, the “state of the art” LAU-Clinical Simulation Center and expertise of local and international clinical staff.
