AHA New Guidelines for patients with known or suspected Covid-19 infection
The LAU Clinical Simulation Center, being a certified AHA International Training Center, has been delivering AHA basic courses (Hands-Only CPR, First Aid, AED, pediatric Heartsaver, BLS), and advanced courses (ACLS and PALS) to LAU faculty, students and staff, to our medical center’s staff and to the community at large for many years.
Recently, the AHA has released an interim guidance for CPR and emergency cardiovascular care for patients with known or suspected coronavirus (COVID-19) infection to help reduce the risk for transmission of SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19.
